In the beginning, Anya’s personality can be depicted as very hyper, confident, talkative, and overall very playful. She has a particular fondness for cute things (though secretly she also likes things that are borderline creepy and gothic). She also tends to call people by nicknames instead of their actual names. Synopsis
Anya attended middle school in Russia. Anya was known to be an accomplished yet trouble-making scoundrel during her middle school days. She became the cheerleading team captain shortly after the previous captain graduated, performed with the school choir, and soloed in many school events. Even though she’s not a straight-A student, many would still consider her top of the class. However, due to her rebellious nature, the teachers tend to scorn her.Her parents thought that Anya's trouble-making tendencies came from the lack of challenge the Russian school system poses, therefore they decided to send her to Japan for high school, in hopes that the strict Japanese school system will make her act disciplined.When Anya first moved to Japan with her mother, she immediately loved the country. Purely because a lot of things in Japan are aesthetically pleasing and cute. She once again joined the cheerleading team in her new school and seemed to fit in rather nicely. One particular boy in her new school’s soccer team caught her attention, Isagi Yoichi, and Anya quickly developed a crush.From then on she tried to form a relationship with the boy but for a while, Anya was stuck in the friendship zone because Isagi is completely oblivious to Anya’s attempt at flirting, despite mutually sharing an attraction for Anya. One day Anya decided to just be forward with him and ask him out, but Anya was disappointed to find out that Isagi will not be attending school for a while because he’s participated in the Blue Lock Project.On that day Anya decided that when Isagi comes back, she would confess her feelings and ask him out on a date.After the match with Japan’s U-20 team, Anya asked Isagi if they could meet up before he has to go away again. They ended up meeting at a cafe, where Anya eventually confesses her feelings (much to Isagi’s surprise) but he eventually reciprocates, making them officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
